After losing his entire family in a devastating car accident, Philip Andrews is left alone, consumed by grief, anger, and a crisis of faith. Once a successful government official with a family and a promising life, he can no longer understand why God allowed such a tragedy to happen. Living in what he calls his darkest night, Philip begins searching for a reason to continue. Six months after the accident, a book changes the direction of his life: The Dark Night of the Soul, written by Aldivan Torres. Inspired by its message of faith, redemption, and recovery, Philip decides to seek Renato, one of the author's companions, hoping to find answers. His journey takes him to the sacred Ororubá Mountains, where he encounters the mysterious Guardian and eventually meets the Seer, Aldivan.
